Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Mr. Ford developed a deep connection with his hometown's culture, from its food to its sports teams. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Air Force where he served for 4 years. After completing military service, he moved to New York City for undergrad. While in New York he developed a connection with the city's storied past and its diverse neighborhoods. After undergrad, he decided to return to his hometown to attend the University of Houston Law Center.
