A native Houstonian, Alexandra “Alex” Pierce maintains a diverse litigation practice. She handles matters involving real estate litigation and transactions, the defense of title insurance claims, and a wide range of commercial disputes, from trade secret matters to wrongful competition claims. Alex has also served as outside associate general counsel and helped resolve numerous complex matters, both before and after the commencement of litigation.

Alex works closely with the entire Hanszen Laporte team and appreciates that every case presents unique circumstances and challenges. This variety allows her to apply her analytical skills and creativity to develop resolutions that best meet each client’s particular needs. For Alex, “one size does not fit all,” and she welcomes the opportunity to find solutions tailored to each client and matter.

Outside her legal practice, Alex enjoys cooking international cuisine and watching Longhorn football.
