Donald W. Taylor Donald W. Taylor is an " AV " rated attorney with more than thirty years experience in both litigation and oil and gas transactions. Through his substantive career, Don has served as in-house counsel with Standard Oil Company and Ada Exploration Co., as well as serving as general counsel for the Oil Investment Institute, a trade association of oil and gas drilling funds. Since going into private practice, Don has focused on litigation (including serving as lead trial counsel for trials in Texas, Oklahoma, Connecticut, Louisiana, and Florida) and continued his efforts in the oil and gas industry, including the preparation and issuance of securities documents, title opinions, and related transactional documents and agreements. The Firm considers Don and his extensive experience to be a substantial asset to our clients.
Don graduated from Austin College in 1961 and earned his law degree from the Bates College of Law of the University of Houston in 1966. He is licensed to practice in Texas and Oklahoma. Don is married to Sheila, and they have four children.
