Christina Minshew Lewis concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, real estate, taxation and probate. Her experience also involves collection matters, estate planning, fiduciary issues, business organization structures, insurance law, general contract matters, and employment matters. Ms. Lewis has been published in the ABA Midwinter Report and the cumulative supplement regarding complex issues surrounding conflicts of interest associated with the denial of services by a health care provider.

Ms. Lewis earned her law degree in 1999 from South Texas College of Law where she received the American Jurisprudence Award (highest grade) in taxation. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Southwest Texas State University in 1996. She is a member of the Texas State Bar, American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, and Houston Young Lawyers Association. She is licensed to practice before the state courts of Texas and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. Ms. Lewis has also practiced throughout the nation in various state and federal courts.

Ms. Lewis's diverse background enables her to litigate a wide variety of complex commercial cases, as well as provide general business advice. Prior to joining the firm of Hanszen Laporte, Ms. Lewis was chosen to be apart of an elite team at Deloitte & Touche, LLP. She was responsible for analyzing and ensuring that proper pension deposits were made after a company buyout. She has also served as Chief Counsel for a mortgage company.
