Robert NorthSenior Counsel


An experienced HOA attorney, Robert North handles all aspects of real estate transactions, litigation, and property owners’ association representation. He advises clients on general community association matters, assessment collections, restrictive covenant enforcement, warranty claims, contracts, and fair housing issues. He also guides clients through the complexities of day-to-day legal matters. Robert has drafted deed restrictions for several residential communities and supported proposed legislation benefiting community associations.
Throughout his career, Robert has litigated numerous association deed restriction cases, including matters involving architectural control, nuisance, corporate governance, construction and design defects, contracts, and defamation. He has also regularly handled contract and tort claims on behalf of community associations, working to ensure that developers and contractors fulfill their contractual obligations to his clients.
Robert believes that a proactive, practical approach to resolving legal issues within community associations is critical to their continued success.
