Robert NorthSenior Counsel

An experienced HOA attorney, Robert North handles all aspects of real estate transactions, litigation, and property owners’ association representation. Robert provides counsel on matters including general community association issues, assessment collections, restrictive covenant enforcement, warranty, contracts, and fair housing. He also helps shepherd his clients through the complexities of day-to-day legal issues. Robert has authored deed restrictions for several residential communities and has supported proposed legislation beneficial to community associations.
Throughout his career, Robert has litigated many association deed restriction cases including architectural control, nuisance, corporate matters, construction, design defect, contract as well as defamation. He has regularly handled contracts and tort claims brought on behalf of community associations to ensure that developers and contractors live up to the expectations contracted by the firm’s clients.
He believes that a proactive and practical approach to resolving legal issues within community associations is critical to their success.
