Matthew BergeronAssociate


Matthew Bergeron is a Houstonian. He went to law school at the University of Houston, but he learned how to be a lawyer at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. Matthew has trial experience ranging from misdemeanors to murders.
After a fulfilling six years in public service, Matthew transitioned to civil litigation. Before joining Hanszen Laporte, Matthew represented individuals and corporations for a national law firm. Matthew defended claims involving negligence, premises liability, construction defects, sexual assault, and fatal vehicle collisions.
Matthew’s practice focuses on real estate, construction defects, probate, and commercial litigation.
Matthew brings passion, honesty, and focus to his clients’ problems.
Matthew loves his wife, son, extended family, and dog. He will probably talk about them.
