A native Houstonian, Alexandra "Alex" Pierce maintains a broad and diverse litigation practice. She handles cases related to real estate litigation and transactions, the defense of title insurance, and a broad spectrum of commercial litigaton, ranging from trade secrets to wrongful competition claims. Within her practice, Alex has acted as outside associate general cousel and has helped to resolve many complex matters, both before and after the commencement of litigation.

Alex works closely with the entire Hanszen Laporte team and enjoys how each case, client, and problem is unique, allowing her to utilize her analytical skills and creative thinking capabilities to work towards a resolution that best the client's needs for their particular problem. For Alex, "one size does not fit all," and she revels in the opportunity to find the unique solution to discrete problems. Whenever possible, outside of the practice of law, Alex enjoys cooking international cuisine and Longhorn football.
